WATSON KIRKCONNELL
to be Doctor of Laws
A scholar with a bewildering quiverful of linguistic as, indeed, of other talents, including no mean skill in the Magyar and Slavonic tongues, he has filled successively chairs of Classics and of English, has at all times proven an erudite, versatile and witty author, and is at present President of Acadia University.
Though it adds one more to his considerable list of titles, this University is happy to bestow upon this learned man the degree of Doctor of Laws.
