JOSEPH AVILA BEDARD
to be Doctor of Laws
Master of Forestry, Doctor of Science, and Deputy Minister of Lands and Forests in the Province of Quebec; a man of immense practical experience coupled with a happy Gallic penchant for wit and the Humanities, which season his discourse as the years season his timber.
He will be gratefully remembered for the two addresses he delivered at our earlier celebrations -- each delightful and each (as later he mischievously confessed) delivered to the wrong audience!
