CHALMERS JACK MACKENZIE
to he Doctor of Science

Son of this Province, Fellow of the Royal Society, Chalmers Jack MacKenzie is a scientist rightly and manifestly meriting your honour.

Among his many great services to city, province and nation none, indeed, excite higher admiration, have called for intenser research, or proved more thoroughly needful to the world and all who dwell therein than his inspiring and productive labours as President of the Atomic Energy Control Board.

A man of his calibre needs no encomium. He will be his own best orator when later this afternoon he delivers the speech of honour to this assembly.
