ENCAENIA, MAY, 1953
GEORGE WILFRED IRVING CREIGHTON
to be Doctor of Science

George Creighton, our own right worthy alumnus, went forth from this College so well grounded in the theory and practice of Forestry, so inspired with the love of trees, and so enriched by his own broad and receptive vision, that he was many years ago promoted to be Deputy Minister of Lands and Forests in our sister Province of Nova Scotia; which post he has deservedly held to the present date.
