WALTER HERBERT AUBREY CRABTREE
to be Doctor of Laws
Though he has devoted his entire working life to the pulp and paper industry, Walter Crabtree never failed his Country when she was under the scourge of two recent wars. The former saw him a soldier in arms; the latter brought into service his acute professional knowledge and very considerable experience. He represents the third
generation of the Crabtree family to be engaged in the paper-making industry of Canada, and it is doubtful whether a better paper-maker can be said to exist on this continent.
