CONVOCATION, OCTOBER, 1954
GORDON FREDERICK NICHOLSON
to be Doctor of Laws

*Gordon Frederick Nicholson has, except for the years of his education and War Service, devoted his life to the New Brunswick community of St. Stephen, where he has not only upheld the highest traditions of the legal profession but unstintingly given himself to every good work. It is particularly fitting that at a convocation held in Saint John, the place of his birth, and at the University of New Brunswick Law School, from which he graduated in 1925, the University of New Brunswick should pay honour to him personally and through him to the Barristers' Society of New Brunswick, of which he is President.
