Valedictory Address

Valedictorian Callum Hunter will address spring graduates from the faculties of graduates of arts, law, Renaissance College and interdisciplinary studies on the Fredericton campus.

Callum is graduating with a bachelor of philosophy in interdisciplinary leadership, with minors in philosophy and political science.

Over the last four years, Callum has actively participated in several community and campus initiatives, placing a high priority on establishing connections, both between herself and other students.

Callum has served as a residence assistant, peer mentor, member of her faculty's student council, member of the Student Experience Team, frequent volunteer and participant in campus and faculty events and a dance teacher, student and performer off campus, establishing a reputation for her dedication to service that reflects her appreciation and love of UNB and Fredericton.

While attending UNB, Callum's goal has been to make it feel more like home for everyone she meets.

“I have actively heard and responded to the academic, social, emotional and environmental well-being of students across all faculties,” said Callum. “I believe this has made me well-attuned to both the biggest stresses and excitements that come with moving through university and towards graduation. I am confident in my ability to connect with students and to unite our diverse perspectives through the common experience of growing together at UNB.”
