Delivered by: Parkin, George Robert

Content

"The Encoenia" Daily Telegraph (23 June, 1876): 1. (UA Case 67a, Box 1)

"The alumni oration was delivered by Mr. Parkin, and was an entirely earnest plea for facilities for intermediate culture. He contended that without high schools, which need not be government institutions, and without boarding schools in [confinection], like those in England, the missing link would be wanting by which students would be furnished to the University."
